15 Types Of Shepherd Dogs Breeds And Their Origin

Anatolian Shepherd is one of the independent, powerful dogs. They are short, dense coats and with road-heavy heads. They have dense coats to protect them against extreme weather conditions and are found in color, with or without distinctive black masks.

The Anatolian shepherd, also known as the faithful Guardian, is a breed that originated in the Anatolia region of Turkey. The Anatolian Shepherd Dog meets the description of a dog found on artifacts from Anatolia that date back to the year 2000 B.C. The biblical book of Job, which takes place in Turkey and dates back to the year 1800 B.C., includes a description of huge dogs that lived amid the flocks of sheep.

The Chow Chow is a breed of dog that belongs to the Spitz family and has its roots in northern China.
