Top 10 most popular teenage clothing brands in the USA are Nike, American Eagle, and Lululemon, among others. Nike is by far the go-to brand for teens.

Teenagers only buy trending clothing, and the gradual shift of the market towards comfortable wear following the coronavirus pandemic has propelled sportswear manufacturers to the top of the list of popular clothing brands in the United States of America and around the globe.

While fast fashion clothing brands like H&M rank in the top 5 of the preferred brands by teens in the United States of America, luxury brands like Chanel and Louis Vuitton do not fall inside the top 10. The budget constraints among teens might be one reason for luxury brands not getting into the mix.

American brands such as American Eagles and Hollister have also made a lasting impression on the teenage demographic in the United States of America. Here are the ten most popular brands that teens prefer, according to a survey by Piper Sandler via Insider.

The below table shows the brand name with the percentage of surveyed American teens who prefer them, the remaining 37% preferred other brands that did not qualify for the top 10 spots.

The brand is not limited to clothing but also has a wide selection of beauty products, accessories, and footwear. The fashion brand was established by Do Won Chang and Jin Sook Chang, a married immigrant couple from South Korea, in the Highland Park district of Los Angeles.

Forever 21 is now jointly owned by Authentic Brands Group, Brookfield Properties, and Simon Property Group. The first store was just 84 square meters but the brand now operates over 600 stores worldwide with an average store size of 3,500 square meters.
