Great Wolf Lodge now known as Great Wolf Resorts is one the largest chain of indoor waterparks in the United States of America. The privately held company has 18 locations inside of the USA and one operating in Canada.
The chain of resorts is popular among people going for a vacation due to its enormous indoor waterparks and other amenities including spas, arcades, and outstanding restaurants. The first facility opened in 1997 in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
Great Wolf Lodge locations include Sandusky in Ohio, Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, Grand Mound in Washington, and Niagara Falls in Ontario in Canada, among several others. The resort in Manteca, California, opened in 2021.

1. Wilderness Resort
Wilderness Resort is located in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Wilderness Resort is one of the largest indoor waterpark complexes in the world.
The resort offers 240,000 square feet of indoor waterparks which are split into three parts Klondike Kavern Indoor Waterpark, Wild WaterDome Indoor Waterpark, and Wild West Indoor Waterpark. It also features several outdoor and indoor integrated waterparks as well.
Wild WaterDome Indoor Waterpark and Wild West Indoor Waterpark both have an area of 70,000 square feet. Wild WaterDome has a special roof that lets the natural sunlight and UV rays inside so people can get the perfect tan and the area can have natural plant growth.
Apart from waterparks, the facility also offers other activities including Go-Kart Trail, Arcade, Indoor, and outdoor mini-golf with 3D lighting, among others.
The accommodation facilities include standard rooms with two queen-size beds and a sleeper sofa with a sleeping capacity of 6 people to an entire four-bedroom cabin by the lake with a sleeping capacity of 16 people.
2. Jay Peak Resort
Jay Peak Resort is located in Jay, Vermont. The Pump House waterpark is the only indoor waterpark in Vermont.
The Pump House indoor waterpark has a retractable roof enabling the management to let the summer sun inside and close it off when the weather turns worse. It has several rides and activities suitable for all ages.
