The couple currently owns a house-developing company known as Gate House Design Group. When they were newly married, the pair used to work six different jobs in order to provide for their loved ones.

In the "How Do We Afford 16 Kids" video, Tiffany shared about working in an ice cream shop and as a distributor of newspapers. Early in the morning, the pair delivered bundles of newspaper to the paper boys.

They also delivered salt to the grocery stores so that they could use it on the roads on snowy days. During their date nights, the lovebirds would collect cans every three days a week.

After buying and flipping houses for several years Tiffany learned about her hidden skills and began to freelance as an architectural designer. 

She also founded a daycare center at her home in 2016 but it is no longer open due to the pandemic.

The Nelson family net worth is estimated at $3.3 million, as per Naibuzz. The Nelsons earn their income from YouTube channel and their business.

As per Social Blade, Not Enough Nelsons earn around $17.9k-$285.9k monthly and $214.k-$3.5 million annually via YouTube. The platform became one of the major sources of income since 2018.

In the early days, Tiffany and Benji saved more than $20,000 by working odd jobs. With the money they bought their first house together and two years later sold at $28,000 to $30,000 more than the purchase price.

Nelsons learned the trick to double their wealth and began investing in real estate. The second house they bought was sold for a $90,000 profit. Then they had a huge nest egg and were able to build a house which they sold for double the price of its making cost.

After earning a huge profit the couple shifted to house development and decided to build their 24-lot subdivision. The money they earned from the sales of the lots helped the Nelsons to build a house for themselves.

Unfortunately, the earnings of the couple went down the drain due to the recession in 2008. Later, they went bankrupt.

Tiffany and Benji rebuild their business from scratch and supplemented their income with a daycare business.
