After nine years of sentence, he was then released due to his developing a terminal case of liver cancer. His black history was not so understandable for nine year old who barely got to know his father.
For years John did not know precisely what was happening with his father and what he did. Frances would take John to see his father in prison; his mind saw beyond those walls a bright future that he lives now.
His twenty years were spent behind bars, and he could not pay for his half-life with his family. His son John Jr barely got to know him; somehow strong bond was established through weekend prison visits.
3. In 2018, John Wrote Emotional Letter To His Father
John expressed his desire to bring him back to life to watch him play in the NBA; Wall Sr never got a chance to watch him play at an amateur level.
