Jasmine Cephas Jones parents Ron Cephas Jones and Kim Lesley are famous celebrities. Ron is a professional actor, whereas Kim is a jazz singer.
Jasmine is recognized for portraying the roles of Maria Reynolds and Peggy Schuyler in the Broadway musical Hamilton. She has also performed in other Off-Broadway productions, such as Cyrano and The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner.

Kim has been singing since she was 13 years old. Jasmine's mother currently works as a musician at Ananda Ashram-Yoga Society of New York Inc.; she has been associated with the ashram for 29 years.
Besides her career as a singer, Lesley is a real estate salesperson at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Green Team. Previously, she worked at Century 21 Realty Center for three years.
Kim has also served as a minister at ACI Rehab and OPT. She has been giving vocal lessons for 45 years and private spiritual counseling for 25 years.
Kim celebrates her birthday on November 14.
Jasmine Cephas Mom and Dad Were Separated When She Was A Child
Jasmine Cephas's mom and dad separated when she was a child. However, both of her parents were equally involved in her life through co-parenting.
The pair are private about their personal lives with the public. But according to their social media posts, Ron and Kim have a good relationship with each other despite being separated.
They send each other wishes on the occasion of Mother's Day, Father's Day, and birthdays. In June 2022, the pair attended the Tony Awards together and have also been spotted hanging out together with their daughter.

Ron Cephas Jones mentioned during an interview with Essence that he and his ex-partner opted for co-parenting after their split.
He revealed that healthy co-parenting was the key to their daughter's better upbringing. He also mentioned that there were sacrifices on both sides as they both attended some therapy sessions.
Although Ron and Kim separated, they were committed to providing a healthy environment for raising their daughter. The two are proud of their child's achievements, but they are mainly happy that she is happy and healthy.
While growing up, Jasmine used to tag along with her father during auditions and spend time together at Nuyorican Poets Cafe. It was a proud moment for Ron when he won an Emmy with his daughter in 2020.
