Netflix Series Firefly Lane Season 2 Cast Include Four Newcomers Bringing More Drama
India de Beaufort, Jolene Purdy, Greg Germann, and Ignacio Serricchio are the new cast members of Firefly Lane Netflix season 2.
The Netflix series Firefly Lane will be returning with season two on the streaming site. Along with the returning cast members Ali Skovbye, Roan Curtis, and others, these four new actors bring more drama this season.
Season 2 will reveal the reason that may have ended Tully and Kate's 30-year friendship. Before the big reveal, Tully faces legal action after walking away from her talk show, and she must start her career from the bottom. The situation leads her to question her identity.
While Kate must deal with the painful outcome of Johnny's ill-fated trip to Iraq. Firefly Lane will have 16 episodes, which will be divided into two parts: part 1 of season 2 will premiere on December 2, 2022, and part 2 will be released in 2023.
The first part of the season will have nine episodes, while the second part will have seven. The show is based on the book of the same name written by Kristin Hannah.
Firefly Lane Season 2 Cast
For the upcoming second season of Netflix's Firefly Lane, four new cast members have been added to the series.
1. India de Beaufort as Charlotte
Beaufort will be playing the character of Charlotte, who is an aspiring journalist and has a crush on Johnny Ryan, played by actor Ben Lawson. Charlotte, shown in 1985 Seattle, is a quiet and reserved person, but throughout the years she becomes a confident, well-known reporter.
India has acted in several films and television shows, such as One Tree Hill, The Basil Brush Show, Kimi, Sumberland, and many more. She has also made guest appearances in TV shows including How I Met Your Mother, Chuck, The Night Shift, and Castle.
In 2020, she released her song Crack.
2. Greg Germann as Benedict Binswanger
Germann portrays the role of Benedict Binswanger, who is a descendant of an influential logging family. In the 1980s, he runs for governor of Washington state, aided by his business success.
Benedict is determined to preserve his family's legacy while keeping the long-held secret hidden.
Greg Germann is known for portraying roles such as Richard Fish in Ally McBeal, Tom Korarick in Grey's Anatomy, Eric Morrow in Ned and Stacey, and Hades in season 5 of Once Upon A Time.
He has been in the industry for more than three decades.
3. Jolene Purdy as Justine Jordan
Purdy will be seen playing the role of Justine Jordan, an enthusiastic talent manager, and she has the ability to keep a positive attitude even when delivering devastating news. She always has a plan and is ready to execute it.
Jolene previously appeared in two main roles: Piper Katins in Gigantic and Micah in Benched. She appeared in several television shows, including WandaVision and Orange Is the New Black.
She has appeared in several other TV shows, such as Do Not Disturb, 10 Things I Hate About You, Glee, The White Lotus, and many more.
4. Ignacio Serricchio as Danny Diaz
Serricchio will be portraying the role of Danny Diaz, an arrogant sportscaster turned reporter who has great chemistry with Tully, played by actress Katherine Heigl. Diaz might have a conceited facade, but beneath that lies passion and vulnerability.
Ignacio is known for the roles of Don West in Lost in Space, Dante Pardo in El Recluso, Diego Alcazar in General Hospital, and Alex Chavez in The Young and the Restless.

Where Was Firefly Lane Filmed?
Season two of Netflix's series Firefly Lane was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.
One of the locations where the shooting took place was Inter River Park, located in the District of North Vancouver.
It is a multi-use park that consists of hiking trails, off-leash dog areas, and a full-size sports field. The park is near Lynn Canyon Park, and a couple of minutes away is where River Lake is located.
Kristin Hannah, the author of the book Firefly Lane, mentioned the locations we can visit in real life in her blog post. The places she mentioned were Kels Pub in Pioneer Square, a ferry ride from Seattle to Brainerd Island, Starbucks in the Public Market, Greek Row at the University of Washington, and Goldies Tavern in the U District.
